Pack 565 Uniform Policy

 The Class “A” Uniform is the preferred uniform when Cub Scouts will be in the public eye.  The Class “A” uniform will be worn at all Pack Meetings, during all fund raising activities (i.e. Popcorn Sales, Scout Show Tickets, etc.) and Scouting for Food campaigns as well as any activity deemed appropriate by Pack Leadership.  The Class “A” Uniform will include the following:

  1. Official BSA shirt (blue for Cub Scouts, blue or tan for Webelos with blue epaulets) tucked in with all buttons fastened.  Male leaders wear tan.  Female leaders may wear tan or yellow.

  1. Rank appropriate official BSA neckerchiefs with slide (Gold-Tigers & Wolves, Blue-Bears, Plaid-Webelos).  Neckerchiefs are to be worn under the open collar.  Neckerchiefs are optional for leaders.

  1. Official BSA long or short pants are preferred.  Blue jeans or blue jean shorts will be allowed.

  1. An official BSA belt (blue for cubs and olive for adults) worn through all pant loops. 

  1. If a cap or hat is to be worn, it must be an official BSA Cub Scout or Webelo Cap.  Adult leaders may wear any Official BSA cap or hat.

  1. All shoes are to be closed toe.  Leather or canvass, neat and clean.            

  1. General appearance is to be neat and well groomed.

 

The Class “B” Uniform may be worn when deemed appropriate by Pack Leadership at Pack or Den events such as camp outs, outdoor activities, etc.  The Class B uniform consists of: 

  1. An Official Pack 565 T-shirt is preferred but any Official BSA T-shirt or a T-shirt from an Official BSA function such as Pinewood Derby, Day Camp, Summer Camp, etc. is allowed.

  1. Any pant/jean appropriate for the activity and climate. 

  1. Closed toe shoes, leather or canvass, neat and clean worn with socks.    

  1. If desired, any appropriate cap or hat.
